Explore the art of printmaking with a minimum of equipment. You can make beautiful prints using just hand pressure, with no need for a press. We will work with lino, card and collage relief prints to produce limited editions in black and white and colour, also monoprint for painterly effects. There may be an opportuntiy to use a press to produce an edition towards the end of the course.

Stone Lithography – individual tuition and small groups
A weekend or two weekdays to be arranged individually

An introduction to the technique of stone lithography. This medium is capable of producing beautifully sensitive drawn lines and washes as well as vivid blocks of colour.
Other printmaking techniques can also be explored in a session such as this.
